Football Predictions Today – Tuesday, 13 October 2026

FootballPredictions.bet turns team scoring data into expected goals and a Poisson probability distribution for every fixture, so each match gets 1X2, BTTS, goals and correct-score forecasts alongside form, head-to-head records and league statistics — not a one-line tip.

How our predictions work

Three steps, the same for every fixture on this site.

1. Expected goals

Each team's scoring and conceding rates are adjusted for the opponent and home advantage to give an expected goals figure for this fixture.

2. Probability distribution

A Poisson distribution turns those two numbers into the chance of every scoreline, which becomes the 1X2, BTTS, goals-line and correct-score probabilities.

3. Published and scored

The pre-match figures are stored before kick-off and checked against the final result, so the accuracy record on this site is the model's own history.

Today's football predictions explained

Every fixture on this page carries a full probability distribution rather than a single tip. Our model converts each team's attacking and defensive output into expected goals for the specific matchup, then uses a Poisson goal distribution to derive the chance of a home win, draw or away win, both teams scoring, each goals line and every plausible scoreline.

Because the outputs are probabilities, they should be read as ranges rather than verdicts. A selection quoted at 62% is expected to be wrong roughly four times in ten. That is normal and is why we publish confidence levels, the model's expected goals and the underlying form data behind each pick instead of a bare prediction.

Markets covered include 1X2, double chance, draw no bet, both teams to score, over/under goals lines and correct score. Fixture pages add head-to-head history, home and away splits, a team-by-team statistical comparison and the current league table, so you can see whether the numbers agree with the narrative.

Predictions regenerate as new results and team data arrive, and each fixture page shows when its analysis was last updated. Live matches switch to the match centre view with in-play scores and a timeline. Predictions are statistical estimates for informational purposes only.
